The old external boiler leaked. This created fumes internally in the house. We had to remove the old burner with its housing and contaminated soil. Remediation of entire area and installed a new modern weatherproof burner.
We needed to ensure that fumes from the boiler were not still directed towards the house or the neighbours annex
The client was concerned about the look of a new enclosure for existing boiler against the neighbour’s timber fence
The client was also concerned that the old pipework was blackening the neighbours fence
Finally there was concern around the contaminated paving with new paving – how it would look aesthetically
We removed the old burner housing altogether
We then installed a new and more efficient condensing boiler and extended flue so that fumes did not blow into the neighbours open annex or towards the house
We managed to locate matching paving to the existing paving and used these as replacements
Then on completion of the project, we powerwashed the entire yard so everything was clean and matched
